Cold trap R2 - Cold trap is a device to freeze and condense the hazardous gas or moisture during the vacuum drying process from vacuum dry oven prior to the vacuum pump.
-> Major temperatures :-70℃ (Less than RT.25℃)
If directly connecting the vacuum pump to the vacuum dryer, there might be contamination of samples in the dry oven due to back-flow of oil in the vacuum pump while shortening the life span of the high priced vacuum pump.
